Invite-only early access · Built first for JEE & NEET coaching

Marks tell you how much.
We help you see what's next.

A class can finish a test without anyone knowing what each student needs next. Heramb.study turns every assessment into a clear picture of learning gaps, targeted practice and verified progress.

Progress, made visible. Understand every learner. Make every next step count.

Each question is tagged to a topic, so marks become a topic map.

Illustrative concept of the planned product. Student, topics and numbers are fictional.

The problem

A total score hides the reason behind it.

Two students can both score 58% for completely different reasons. One hasn't understood a concept; the other understood it but ran out of time. Treating them the same wastes the next week of practice.

Teachers
Know a class did badly in a chapter, but rarely have time to find out which students, which sub-topics and why.
Students
Repeat whole chapters or random question banks instead of the few things actually holding them back.
Institutes
Report marks to parents, but struggle to show genuine, specific improvement between tests.
Everyone
Move on to the next chapter without checking whether last month's gaps were ever closed.

How it works

Five steps, repeated every cycle.

The whole product is built around one loop. Each step produces evidence the next one uses.

  1. Step 1

    Assess

Run a test you already use, or one of ours.

  2. Step 2

    Diagnose

See gaps by topic and mistake type.

  3. Step 3

    Practise

    Assign short, targeted practice.

  4. Step 4

    Verify

    Re-check the same skills later.

  5. Step 5

    Improve

Decide the next step with evidence.

Then the loop repeats with the next topic.

Three ways in

One platform, three views of the same learning.

Student Practice

Short practice sets aimed at the topics a learner is weakest in, with step-by-step review of every mistake.

Teacher and Institute

Class-wide view of which topics need reteaching, which students need help, and what kind of mistakes they're making.

Progress and Outcomes

Verified before-and-after progress on the same skills, in reports students and parents can actually understand.

What you'd see

A report that says what to do next.

Instead of a single percentage, each topic shows where the student stands, what kind of mistake dominates, and whether practice actually moved it.

  • Topic-level status, not just a total
  • Mistake type: concept, procedure, careless, time pressure
  • Before-and-after on comparable questions
  • A concrete, human-readable next step

Suggested next step: continue short practice on rotational motion (concept: direction of torque). Gravitation slipped slightly — the mistakes were under time pressure, so a timed mini-set is more useful than re-teaching.

Thresholds used: secure ≥ 75%, developing 50–74%, learning gap < 50%. Two tests are only comparable when they cover the same topics at similar difficulty.

For students

Practise less of what you know. More of what you don't.

See exactly which topics are holding you back, get short practice sets aimed at them, and watch the gap close on a follow-up check — without guesswork.

For institutes & teachers

Decide what to reteach in minutes, not evenings.

Class-wide gap maps, groupings by need, and progress you can explain to parents with specifics rather than averages — designed to fit next to your current test series.

Questions

Sceptical questions, straight answers.

Is Heramb.study available to use today?

Not the full platform yet. Today you can use the free resources on this site and request an invite. The student practice app and teacher dashboard are in development, and we'll invite people in small groups as each part becomes ready. We haven't set a public launch date.

Will it improve my students' marks or my institute's results?

We can't promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Heramb.study is designed to make learning gaps and progress visible so teachers can act on them. Whether results improve depends on teaching, practice and many factors outside any software. During pilots we'll measure what actually changes and share it honestly.

Do we have to replace our current software or test series?

No. The plan is for Heramb.study to work alongside what you already use — starting from your own tests and results. See how an institute can evaluate it without switching systems.

Is AI writing the questions? How do you check them?

Some practice questions may be drafted with AI assistance. Any such question is reviewed before students see it, and every question will have a "report a problem" option. We explain our review approach and its limits on our approach page.

What happens to the data I submit in the invite form?

It's stored securely and used only to manage invitations — and for product updates if you separately opt in. We never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Details are in the privacy policy.

How much will it cost?

Pricing hasn't been decided, and nothing is for sale today. Invited pilot users won't be charged without clear notice and their explicit agreement.

Which exams and subjects will you support first?

We're starting with JEE and NEET preparation (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics), because that's where we're validating the product with coaching centres first. Other exams and international curricula will follow only once there's demonstrated demand.

Invite-only early access

Help shape Heramb.study from the first version.

We're opening access in small, invite-only groups so we can learn from real classrooms before scaling. Requesting an invite is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
